Traffic Delays from Toronto to Toronto Pearson Airport

If you are planning to fly out of Toronto Airport please be aware that you would need to give yourself some extra time to Travel from the downtown core to Pearson Airport. If you are booking a Limo to Toronto Airport we recommend that you should add at least 45 minutes to your commute time due to the construction on Gardiner Express way. One lane has been taken out from both east and west bound lanes which is making the approach to the expressway even slower. We have tried alternate routes but they are just a little help.

Here are the work schedules for the repairs to be conducted on the express way:

Deck replacement on part of the elevated portion of the Gardiner between the CNE and Grand Magazine Street. This project includes the demolition of the Garrison Road bridge under the expressway. One lane of traffic will be closed in each direction. City officials said work is expected to wrap up in December 2016.

Rehabilitation of three bridges along the Gardiner between the Humber River and Park Lawn. One lane of eastbound traffic will be closed. Work is expected to be completed in December 2014.

Median replacement between Ellis Ave. and Dufferin Road. One lane of traffic will be closed in each direction. Work is expected to be completed in August 2014.

So once again we would like our clients to know that when you are booking you limo service from Toronto to Pearson International Airport please add some extra time to your travel plan.
